Moneypenny named best workplace at BCO Awards

Moneypenny’s new headquarters has been named as one of the best workplaces in the UK at the annual British Council for Offices.

Our building, which was designed by Manchester-based architects, AEW, was awarded Best Corporate Workplace in the North at the ceremony held at The Lowery Hotel in Salford.

The prestigious BCO awards programme recognises the highest quality developments and sets the standard for excellence in the regional and national office sector.

Ed Reeves, co-founder and director of Moneypenny, said: “We are immensely proud of our new headquarters and to have it recognised by the BCO as one of the best offices in the country only affirms this. Together with AEW, we’ve not only created a space that stands out as a pioneering office design, but also reflects and encourages the wellbeing and culture of everyone who works here.”

Director Andy Rainford said “From a design perspective, the BCO awards are the ultimate measure of quality for office buildings. The award, which is a recognition of everyone involved, is the icing on the cake and we look forward to the National Awards in October.”

This is the 14th year that the Regional Awards have been presented locally in the north, celebrating excellence in office space regionally, before all winners go on to compete at a national level at the National Awards in October.

We also recently won Best Commercial Project at the LABC North Wales Building Excellence Awards 2017.
