What kinds of businesses use Message Taking over Telephone Answering?

Our Message Taking Service is the ideal solution for businesses trying out a service like Moneypenny's for the first time, as it's a great way to experience the benefits of quality answering and allows you to understand your unique requirements in more detail. Additionally, it's a great option for businesses who aren't looking for call support with all the bells and whistles, and just want great people to look after their calls.

What happens when I use up all my minutes?

You have two options which you can decide on when you get started. You can either automatically switch to voicemail or have us continue to answer your calls and be charged on a per minute basis.

What is the difference between Message Taking and Telephone Answering?

With Moneypenny's Telephone Answering Service, you are given a dedicated Moneypenny PA, someone who gets to know you, your business and how you like to work. The service is more personalised, giving you the option to create different statuses at an employee level, along with a host of additional features, including Appointment Booking and CRM integration. With our Message Taking Service, your calls are answered by a team of Moneypenny PAs, with messages taken and either sent to you via email or text.

How much information can you capture?

We can capture up to five data fields from your callers, which we'll agree with you during set-up.

What happens out of standard hours?

We'll answer calls for you Monday - Friday between 9am - 5pm. Outside of these hours, you can choose to add on 24/7 answering from an additional £35 per month. Alternatively, your calls will be sent to your personalised voicemail.

Am I tied into an ongoing contract?

All of our smaller Message Taking plans (inclusive of 150 minutes and below) have a minimum contract length of three months. Thereafter, we require one month's notice to close your account from the date of your next invoice. For our larger schemes, we require either a six or twelve-month commitment (depending on the volume of inclusive minutes) with three months' notice to terminate your account.
