First CROTY event for Moneypenny Head of Partnerships

It’s that time of year again, and applications for Corporate Receptionist of the Year are open.

The annual event which started in 2019, is open for entries from the crème de la crème of Front of House management staff in the UK from 16^th January to 3^rd March. Judging takes place throughout April and the awards are held at a lavish event ceremony in London on International Receptionists’ Day, on 10^th May.

As well as the trophy and title of Corporate Receptionist of The Year, the 2023 winner will receive a fully hosted five-day trip to New York, dinner for two at a Michelin-starred Restaurant in London, Leadership Development training and more.

Moneypenny have sponsored the event twice over the last four years, with Head of Corporate Sector Jessica Pritchard thoroughly enjoying her experience on the judging panel: “CROTY never fails to be an outstanding display of Front of House excellence. It's been a pleasure to be involved in previous awards, albeit increasingly more difficult to pick a winner from a brilliant pool of individuals!”

This year the Moneypenny judge mantle passes to Joanne Tattum, Head of Partnerships. Joanne brings a wealth of experience from working with Moneypenny partners across legal, finance, property, retail and corporate sectors. Given her varied role, she has a unique insight into the front-of-house workings and requirements of a range of great businesses.

“I'm really looking forward to my first year as a CROTY judge, after seeing the calibre of entrants and winners over the last few years and working closely with front-of-house teams at many brilliant businesses, I'm expecting the talent this year to be exceptional” comments Joanne.

Joanne is joined on the 2023 judging panel by Daniel Hawkins of Meta, 2022 CROTY winner Judita Poceviciute, Ian Pigeon of Addleshaw Goddard, Craig Thatcher of Strawberry Finch, David Hopkins founder of Proinsight, Greg Mace Chief Experience Officer of Riverstone, Dave Willoughby of Vpod Solutions, Paul Jackson Managing Director of Portico, Claire Bartlett Associate Director of Search Consultancy, Paula Rogers owner of Admiral Group, and Dirk Talsma MD of event founders Rapport Guest Services.
